When Andrew was transferred to Chicago from Miami for work, Andrew's dad had a premonition that Andrew would meet a nice Midwestern girl in the Windy City. Soon after, Andrew and Stacey first met, and they bonded over their mutual love for candy and their mutual hatred for convention. A few weeks later, Stacey was supposed to go on a date with another gentleman, and Andrew was supposed to spend the weekend in Miami. Andrew boarded his flight and started heading south, but halfway to Miami, the captain turned the plane around because fate. Andrew texted Stacey from O'Hare that his plans had changed, and Stacey immediately canceled her other date. The two were quickly inseparable. After Andrew moved back to Miami, Stacey spent four months studying for the Florida bar examination, which she took in February 2015. Andrew traveled to Tampa to stay in a hotel with Stacey while she took the test. Each day, Andrew dropped Stacey off at the test, brought lunch, and picked her up. A few days after the ordeal was done, Andrew proposed at Next Restaurant in Chicago, at dinner with Brooke, Stacey's sister, and Mike, Brooke's boyfriend. The four celebrated the engagement and Brooke and Stacey's birthdays through the rest of the weekend. In August 2015, Stacey moved to Miami to be with Andrew.

Brooke, Stacey's sister, gave herself the nickname "Boo" at an early age due to suboptimal writing ability. She went on to graduate college summa cum laude and earn a Master's Degree in Social Service Administration, so it's pretty clear now that she's the Smart Sister. Just like Andrew and Carter, Stacey and Brooke lived together for several years as adults, which is totally normal. Brooke will be contributing her listening skills, Excel talents, and parent-prodding abilities to the Laskin Magnin Wedding.

The first few years of the Carter and Andrew relationship was rocky. There was some overly aggressive hugging that could be considered strangulation by some. Things did get better though… He is the best man after all. Carter is working on his world domination of the retail leasing market during the days while protecting us all from the vile scourge of the earth at night as a reserve police officer. He really is a modern day Batman of sorts. Also, he changed his name to Ken for a year when he was 9.

Carli will be a new momma as of June 2015, and lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband, Laurence. Carli's mom, Robyn, is in the party planning business and taught Carli how to boogie at an early age. Robyn actually helped Robin, Stacey's mom, plan parts of Stacey's bat mitzvah. Carli and Stacey are sorority sisters and can both show you a mean running man or a double pirouette. Carli has perfected anything Beyonce can do. The rumor is that she might start feeling Chirish in mid-March for the wedding.

Carli "Crybak" Bolotin

When Adam isn't defending the world from overreaching rabbis and third grade teachers, he is creating apps, selling real estate and traveling the world. In fact, Adam has graciously canceled his fourth vacation of 2016 to attend the wedding. On a serious note, Adam and Andrew have been best friends for over 15 years. If you looked up the word friend in the dictionary, there would be a picture of Adam. He is always there for the people he cares about, and his people love him for it.

Adam ("AG$") Gleicher

Tim Seigel is Andrew's first cousin and also one of his closest friends. He is lovingly known as "Sweet Tomates," but if you don't know why, we can't tell you. Tim is an expert in all things auto, and unlike most Jewish men actually is pretty handy with the tools. Please do him a favor and don't ask him to fix anything on his day off. Thanks.

Allison is wife to Sarah (see below; try not to act awkward about it) and friend to many. Stacey and Allison are sorority sisters and helped to bring PLPT across the Canadian border. Allison is a teacher and a tutor, and she has helped many kids in Chicago with their homework. Allison is unique in that she is good at both reading and math, and she sometimes gets excited about geometry. Allison is always planning fun things to do with her friends, her family, and her dogs, Charlie and Ella. 

Allison "Melowsky" Melowsky

Sarah is wife to Allison (see above; try not to act awkward about it) and spends her days as a clinical social worker in Chicago, helping those less fortunate than herself. Sarah is never fake. She is known for her unusual laugh and her courage to say what everyone else is thinking. Sarah will tell you that Ella is her dog. Stacey, Sarah, AND Ella are sorority sisters and all lived together in the sorority house. 

Sarah "Berkover" Melowsky

Jeff and Andrew went to Penn together, where they learned that they were both sarcastic haters. Jeff has really moved up in the world so we aren't sure why he still considers Andrew a close friend other than sentiment. A 2013 Curbed Miami Young Gun, Jeff is respected throughout Miami…but don't treat him any differently. The success goes to his head.

"Philadelphia" Jeff Weinstein

Jenna and Stacey are sorority sisters and bonded over mutual fears of raw eggs and carbon monoxide in their college heydays. These days, Jenna works as a physician's assistant at a hospital in Chicago and is married to her college sweetheart, Scott. They have a dog-son named Murphy Hoosier Doodle who inspired Jenna to start a special society for owners of golden doodles in Chicago. Jenna has organized doodle romps, doodle crafting sessions, and doodle fundraisers and has welcomed close to 500 doodles into her life.

Kim and Stacey have been friends since approximately the fourth grade when their moms made them. Kim and Stacey got in trouble in both Sunday School and regular school for laughing too much. Kim and Stacey have entire conversations that consist of varying degrees of laughter. Kim is getting married to her fiancé, Matt, in Phoenix in April 2016. Kim and Matt live together in Washington DC. They are not the indie dance duo, "Matt and Kim."

Downtown Miami is accessible from the Fort Lauderdale Airport. The drive is about 45 minutes.

As of February 16, 2016, the hotel is no longer able to extend a discounted rate on new reservations. Rooms are still available for reservation through the hotel beginning at $365-$425 per night.

Downtown Miami is approximately 10-15 minutes away from the Miami Airport; it is easy to take a cab from the Miami Airport to downtown. Cabs in Miami predominately prefer cash to credit. Miami also offers Uber.
