CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "(Your Name)" & guest if a plus one has been given to you.
ARE KIDS INVITED?
Due to limited space, we are having an "Adult's Only" wedding, outside of the children participating in the ceremony. We encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself. Thank you for understanding.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
The dress code for our wedding is "summer formal" attire. Groomsmen will all be black tie but that's not a requirement for the guests. Both ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The wedding colors are blues and pinks and we encourage everyone to dress to theme. Some Ideas: Floral dresses, pops of color, floor-length or midi for the ladies or a formal jumpsuit. Gentlemen should wear some form of a suit; black, blue or fun colors pants/shirt/tie. Jacket optional as we want you to be comfortable.
Please no jeans/denim/shorts. And no whites for the ladies.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Ceremony will begin at 6pm and we encourage guests to arrive 20-30 minutes in advance so that everyone can park and be seated on time. Welcome drinks will be served and you will also have a chance to sign the guest book.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
Parking will be at the community dock lot, one house before the ceremony site. There will be clear signs on where to pull in/park and which way to walk to enter the ceremony.
WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?
Yes. Beer, wine, champagne and standard liquor options(vodka, whiskey, rum, tequila, gin,) along with a variety of mixers are on us! Plus two custom cocktails. Enjoy the night with us and we will see you on the dance floor! Please drink responsibly and arrange for a DD as there are no uber/ride share options available.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?
Yes but we ask that you do so discreetly and quickly. We want to avoid guests with their phones up in the background of our professional photos. Please use our wedding hashtag #currydaway when posting or the QR code displayed around the reception to upload so we can look back and enjoy the images you capture throughout the evening. We respectfully ask that you don't post shots of the bride or groom until later in the evening and ensure they are tasteful.
HOW DO I RSVP?
Please use the link on our wedding website(or the pre-posted RSVP card that came with your invitation) to respond no later than May 1, 2025. An RSVP is a strict requirement as there will be assigned tables for each guest and we need an accurate headcount for food/drink/seating purposes. If you do not RSVP in time, you will be marked as a "no" and there will unfortunately not be a seat for you. Another gentle reminder that you should only RSVP for those listed on the wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RSVP IN TIME?
If we do not receive your RSVP by May 1, 2025, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest count in a timely manner and will not be able to accept late RSVPS. We greatly appreciate those who cannot make it, RSVPing "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "travel" tab to see suggested rental options and hotels in the area. They are limited so book as soon as you can. You can also VRBO or Air BNB search on your own. If you are coming from the interstate, put in our address(230 Elk River Shores Dr., Rogersville, AL 35652) and take a look at the options between our home and Athens. There are some great options on the water or close to it for those that want to share a house for the weekend together. Most are between 15-20 minutes from the wedding site. However, there are FEWER options on that side so please book quickly before they are gone. Lots of options on the west side of Rogersville, just not as convenient for many of you.
IS THERE A WEDDING REGISTRY?
Celebrating with you on our wedding day is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you do wish to celebrate our union with a gift, we’ve registered online at Amazon and Target for the items we’d find the most useful. Links to those are on the “registry” tab along with an option to contribute to our honeymoon fund.
