It all started with a rose. On a cold February day in 2022, Thomas had just relocated to Wyoming. I was in northern Colorado and decided to begin dating again. The stars aligned, I sent a “rose” (aka alike) to Thomas, and we matched on Hinge!

Our first FaceTime lasted for quite a while; we knew we had found something genuine. The following week, Thomas drove to my college town for our first date at a local restaurant where my friend, Kali was our waitress. “ I immediately knew that he was someone that was going to be in her life forever… he was so sweet to not only her but so kind to me,” Kali recalled from our first date. The following week was Valentine’s Day, and Thomas bought a dozen red roses for me, the first flowers I ever received.And the rest was history.

Through a combined love for college football, working out, cooking, and traveling, we became each other's go-to person, navigating life hand in hand. During a time when I was finishing my master’s program, the one thing we were sure about was spending together and growing in our relationship.

From Thomas driving down most weekends to my house, to going to Sweetheart Winery or the Melting Pot to binge-watching Love is Blind, we feel so lucky that with our medium-distance relationship, we could still find time to do things that we love.

In our 2.5 years of dating, we’ve moved out of state, partied at four weddings, spent countless hours at the gym together, and attended multiple college football games. Yet the best was attending the Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, CA, in 2024, Michigan vs. Alabama, as we watched a historical game with it being Nick Saban’s ( a coach we love) last game. We were blessed to be hosted by but also accompny, Aunt Cathy and Uncle Chris during our Pasadena stay. We’ve made countless memories alongside our fabulous family and friends ( that’s you!).

Together, we've discovered that the best company is us and our family and friends. Join us this fall as we say “ I do” and begin our next chapter of life together. We’re beyond blessed and excited to share our day with those who’ve been a part of our loving relationship.
