In the fall of 2021, two paths converged in a unique way. Zoe, who had been attending her parents' Bible study class, decided it was time to attend a class with other college-age students. She was nervous walking through the door for the first time but Samuel, who was the director of the class, welcomed her warmly and his friendliness made her feel more at ease.

During a class lunch she noticed the close bond between Samuel and his younger sister and it reminded her of the special relationship she shares with her own younger brother. Despite initially thinking Samuel wasn’t her type, Zoe couldn’t ignore the pull of his striking personality. She admired his kindness, leadership, and the genuine care he showed to those around him.

Gathering her courage, Zoe asked Samuel out on a "date." It was a bold move, but Zoe felt that if she didn't act quickly, another girl would swoop in and take him away. They went to the Renaissance Festival with Zoe's mom, brother, and her brother's two friends. The day was filled with laughter, conversation, and the beginning of a beautiful connection. As they got to know each other, Samuel discovered Zoe’s passion for life. She wasn’t just charming and beautiful, she was also incredibly driven, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a fierce dedication.

As their relationship blossomed, they bonded over their shared love for travel, exploring different cities and countries together. Zoe shared her love of Jiu-Jitsu with Samuel, encouraging him to train and he fell in love with Muay Thai in the process. Throughout their entire relationship, Zoe has been by Samuel’s side through thick and thin providing unwavering support, and during times of celebration, she was his biggest cheerleader.
